The Minolta Maxxum 5000 is one of my favorite AF cameras. I use one frequently; it is a workhorse! The pictures in my PBase gallery album "Chickens, etc." were made with a Minolta Maxxum 5000. This camera works great in the field and it's a "tank." In addition to this camera I also use the 7000 which gives me more creative control but is essentially the same camera.
